About Us

Specialist Vehicle Installations Ltd was formed in 2007 and since then we have been providing services to businesses and the public all across the UK and Europe.

We are based in Chorley, Lancashire and we operate throughout the UK through our team of engineers and network of dedicated partners. We provide all the vehicle accessories a business or individual needs from a single install to a Nationwide fleet.

Whether it's a basic install or a fully loaded system we can do it! And always at the very best prices! We only use the best installers, who are all fully qualified auto electricians and have many years experience. All of our work is guaranteed and we are fully insured.

What we do!

ADR Specialists

One of the core elements of our business is ADR installations. We are aware of the restrictions and requirements regarding the fitting of cabling and electrical components to ADR spec vehicles, such as ADR specific cable, or sealed conduit, isolator switches, etc.

We also work closely with tanker manufacturers in the UK and liaise with their electrical departments over best practice and any changes to regulations.

In addition we are fully aware of the health and safety requirements whilst working on high risk sites such as fuel sites:

We carry out full risk assessments and have method statements
We have all the required PPE
All our engineers carry whip flags and flashing beacons
We don’t carry sources of ignition into sites and all of our vehicles are diesel

Quarry Experienced

We travel to various quarries around the UK on almost a daily basis, we can supply and fit various accessories into either the plant machinery or distribution vehicles.

Our engineers have an extensive knowledge in the requirements of a quarry, the environment and conditions, the layouts and operations, along with the challenges posed by all of these. Therefore they can recommend the best solution to your problem.

New 2024 DVS Progressive Safe System PSS

Call us for supply and installation of the new 2024 DVS progressive safe systems including BSIS blind spot information system and MOIS moving off information system.

These systems are a mandatory requirement for the new 2024 TFL DVS requirements on all vehicle less than 3 star rated.
Traditional side sensors will not meet requirements as they detect static objects.
